Our Response:
We would like to express our support for the proposed scheme.
As you may be aware Oxford Preservation Trust have a covenant over South Park, including the application site, OPT were encouraged by the applicants commitment to engaging in consultation prior to submitting plans.
It is the view of the Trust that the proposed change of use will have a positive impact on the site, increasing viability through the opening up of a range of new potential uses. OPT are also in support of the reuse of the barn as storage, reusing the existing buildings on site without the additional carbon cost of demolition.
