The Betjeman Circle
Since Oxford Preservation Trust was established in 1927 we have relied upon the support of benefactors, whose generosity has allowed us to promote, protect and celebrate the rich heritage and beautiful green spaces of Oxford, safeguarding them for years to come.
Named after Sir John Betjeman, who served as OPT Secretary between 1946 and 1948, the Betjeman Circle is a membership scheme for those who are committed to shaping a better Oxford for everyone and over the years has allowed us to undertake ambitious conservation projects in Oxford including the Painted Room, Oxford Castle and the Rewley Road Swing Bridge.
Becoming a Patron of OPT means joining a group of like-minded individuals who are committed to helping us in all aspects of our work: planning, conservation, green spaces and engagement. Our Patrons enjoy bespoke visits and events, granting you behind-the-scenes access to some of Oxford's most special places, and connecting you to the heart of our work.
We would be delighted to invite you to join Oxford Preservation Trust as a Patron.
