Drop-in
At 12pm, the 'Amici della Voce' octet will be performing in the Weston Library's Blackwell Hall.
The 'Amici della Voce' octet, based in Oxford, are a mixed voice acappella group specialising in performing a wide variety of repertoire from early Renaissance through to the present day.
Founded and directed by David Crown, they draw on their extensive choral experience to deliver engaging and spirited concerts.
Recent performances have included the CAM Fauré anniversary concert at Wolfson College, a return visit to the biennial Dorchester Festival and an immersive concert as part of the 'Songs Away from Time' series at St. John the Evangelist, Oxford. Future performances include a concert in Sutton Courtenay at 7pm on Saturday 28th September at All Saint's Church.
Their current programme 'Relaxed Choral Classics', includes works by Holst, Vaughan Williams, Ola Gjeilo, Bob Chilcott and more, and they are very much looking forward to performing as part of the Open Doors festival.
