Forgotten Stories Of Oxford Tour
Pre-book (on the day)
Forgotten Stories Of Oxford is a collection of Spoken Word by homegrown Multimedia Artist Rawz, but it’s also more than that – each poem is tied to a specific geographic location and the collection comes together to form a tour of Oxford city centre. Inspired by stories connected with 11 locations in town, it’s not about the University or any fictional/political/academic character, it’s about the real (not so) ordinary people who have walked the streets beneath our iconic skyline throughout history and in the present day.
Join this bespoke tour guided by the artist himself, taking in a selection of the locations while Rawz performs the connected poetry, tells you more about the stories which inspired the pieces, and answer any of your questions.
If you are unable to make it to the in person tour, there is a free PDF map available, you can go to each location whenever you like, and listen to recordings of Rawz performing the poems on your phone or another device via the YouTube Links. Why not take in one or two stories on a lunch break or with friends as part of a day out?
If none of that is possible for you, you can take the tour online on Google Earth or Story Maps from wherever you are in the world.
All available for FREE via the link below!
