Join us for this guided walk around central Oxford to discover the Historic Inns and Taverns of the city, finishing with a drink in OPT's very own Painted Room, formerly the site of several drinking establishments.

The walk will be led by Julian Munby, former Head of Buildings Archaeology at Oxford Archaeology, where he worked from 1990 to 2020 on a wide range of historic buildings and environmental consultancy. With an interest in medieval towns and buildings, Julian has worked extensively on buildings and property history in Oxford and its landscape, resulting in numerous publications.

The start location for the walk will be in central Oxford, exact details to follow after booking.
