Members Only - The Women of Wolf Hall
Hilary Mantel’s trilogy of novels on Thomas Cromwell and the court of Henry VIII have transformed our understanding of this world and the environment in which a series of well-known, perhaps overfamiliar figures operated. But is it true? Is it history? What might historical fiction add to our understanding of the past and how we view it? Back by popular demand, this talk brings together historian Dr Janet Dickinson and literary scholar Dr Lynn Robson as they discuss this time the Women of Wolf Hall.
Tickets £15. This is a member only event.
This event will be available to book from Monday 17 February at 9.30am.
Please be aware the Painted Room is only accessible up a flight of narrow stairs.
