Towards a Scenographic Architecture

David Kohn will present his practice's design approach to the Gradel Quadrangles at New College, which completed this year. In a tight central Oxford site, situated within a swathe of Victorian gardens, new and old buildings have been woven together to create a rich setting for college life. David will discuss picturesque planning, curved quads and contemporary gargoyles.
