Every year, we celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday with a parade to the historic Painted Room on Cornmarket. The procession will start in the castleyard outside Oxford Castle & Prison before we are led down Queen Street and Cornmarket by town crier and medieval musicians the Oxford Waits.

Come and watch as the great and the good of Oxford parade from St George's Tower, Oxford Castle to the Painted Room in Cornmarket in the annual celebration of Shakespeare's birthday.

Parade begins 11am approximately.

Free event, all welcome. No booking required.
