The Rewley Road Swing Bridge starred in the second episode of the recent Channel 4 programme 'Abandoned Railways From Above'. The programme detailed the Varsity Line which ran between Cambridge and Oxford and played a significant role in WWII due to its link to Bletchley Park.  Moving into the Oxford end of the railway line, the programme gave an insight into the important job of the Swing Bridge and the restoration work led by Oxford Preservation Trust.
