Sign up to volunteer for Oxford Open Doors

Do you want to get involved in supporting Oxford’s annual heritage open weekend? Then become an Oxford Open Doors volunteer! Your contribution will help others to explore historic buildings, community spaces and all kinds of places that are not usually accessible to the public, while enjoying the weekend yourself. You can spend a morning, an afternoon or the whole weekend surrounded by historic buildings, contemporary architecture, or scenic outside spaces – with no prior knowledge needed. 

Oxford Preservation Trust has run Oxford Open Doors since 2007. We depend on our volunteer team, who generously give their time, energy and enthusiasm. As a volunteer, you will be invited to a briefing session before the weekend so that you can become comfortable with your role and how you can help.
