Matt joined the OPT team in August 2024 as part-time Finance Officer. He has 40 years of experience working in accounting roles as a freelance accountant, as well as roles with SMEs, including entrepreneurial start-ups and extensive involvement in the not for profit sector.

Matt has a BSc in Geography and the Environment, which led to a parallel working life as a waste researcher and lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.

During the summer, Matt keeps busy playing cricket and is involved with his local rugby club during the winter. He is a keen traveller and is involved in the running of his local community pub.
