Award winners 2020
Whilst it may not be quite business as usual, nothing was going to stop OPT from hosting our Awards. We spoke to our sponsors, who were amazing in staying with us, invited everyone to submit, gathered the entries (45 great projects), and then managed to visit them all in Autumn 2020 as the restrictions allowed.
In February 2021, the Annual Awards Evening went virtual. We were joined by over 200 guests as the eight plaques and fifteen certificates were awarded, together with the brand-new Green Award presented by special guest Cllr Tom Hayes, Cabinet Member for Green Transport and Zero Carbon Oxford. The winner, Wadham College’s Dorothy Wadham Building on the Iffley Road, was recognised for its clear agenda for sustainable design and architectural contribution.
